Kristen Sacramento, MS, OTR/L
OKOT Occupational Therapist - California branch
I am an East Bay native, and received my occupational therapy degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland. I’ve worked with children for a majority of my professional life, both as an OT and prior to that. As an OT, I’ve supported children through private clinics, school-based services, and through regular sessions as well as OT summer camps and weekly groups. I have experience with a variety of populations, including children with selective mutism, sensory processing differences, anxiety, depression, motor skills challenges, social skills challenges, executive functioning challenges, ADHD, developmental delays, and children who are autistic (including those with a PDA profile).
I am passionate about focusing on children’s strengths and building confidence, learning through mistakes, focusing on quality of life rather than simply managing behavior, and continuing to expand my understanding of all the different ways we learn and grow as humans. I look forward to collaborating with your family!
