Freda Chamberlain, MS, OTR/L
OKOT Occupational Therapist - California branch
I am a pediatric Occupational Therapist passionate about improving children’s access to meaningful activities and experiences. I received my graduate degree from California State University Dominguez Hills. I have experience working with children in outpatient pediatric clinics and various school districts throughout Washington, Oregon, and California.
My practice is grounded in building strong therapeutic rapport, using play-based intervention, and neuro-affirming practices. I believe a strengths-based approach is central to fostering confidence and developing self advocacy skills. Prior to practicing as an OT, I spent several years as a camp counselor, after school teacher, and assistant youth advisor. In my free time you can find me camping, backpacking, picnicking in the park, or practicing yoga.
