Jasmine Reynoso, OTD, OTR/L

OKOT Occupational Therapist - East Bay

I am an OT with a deep passion for nature-based therapy and supporting children’s growth through play in the outdoors. I earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. My doctoral research explored how engaging in outdoor occupations can support mental health and well-being for BIPOC communities, emphasizing the therapeutic value of nature for all. I have experience leading nature-based individual and group sessions that help children build confidence, self-regulation, and meaningful connections through exploration and movement. I take a strengths-based and neurodivergent-affirming approach to create playful, sensory-rich experiences that foster development across physical, emotional, and social domains.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I’ve always loved spending time outdoors and staying active. My favorite hobbies include spending time with my dogs, crocheting, photography, and hiking. I’ve coached soccer summer camps for children ages 3–12 in Albany and Berkeley. I’ve also volunteered at a children’s hospital in Tijuana, B.C., supporting families and children with limited resources. I’m thrilled to be part of the Outdoor Kids OT team and to support children thrive through outdoor adventures and connection.
