Con•T•GO Kids Camp
An outdoor OT summer intensive to build your child's motor coordination, confidence, self-regulation, and social skills.
Who: Kids ages 5-9 who could benefit from building motor coordination, confidence, self-regulation, or social skills in a supportive outdoor environment, led by 2 occupational therapists (Elisabeth Meikle & Laura Figueroa) and 3-4 OT doctorate students. (Approximate 1:2 ratio of adults to kids.)
What: Using our Con-T-GO approach (Connection & Transformation in the Great Outdoors), Con-T-GO Kids Camp will offer therapeutic and playful activities to build your child's connection with peers and transform your child's motor and social development by teaching new skills through intensive OT (20 hours in one week!) in the great outdoors. We'll do group games, nature exploration, tree climbing, fort building, scavenger hunts, water play, open-ended creative art/craft/experiential activities, playful mindfulness & yoga practice, and free play.
When: June 18-22, 9:00am-1:00pm (Please note- At this time we do not offer after-care.)
Where: Pinole Valley Park A beautiful park with wooded areas, a creek, and lots of trails to explore. It is the perfect place for our little camp!
Cost: $895. Monthly installment payments available with full balance due by June 1.
Applications will be considered in the order received, with subsequent applications considered based on goals and ages of children already enrolled. As of March 18, we have 3 spots remaining.
